Experience

2026 → present Executive Director · New York Zen Center for Contemplative Care, New York

The Zen Center trains caregivers and meets people where they are at with real presence. My job is to tend the operational ground underneath so the teachers can teach. I found Zen at nineteen, and this role brings more of my life into one place than ever before.

2025 → 2026 Cultural strategist · Independent, Providence and New York

Strategic guidance for cultural organizations navigating change: bold programmatic initiatives, ambitious fundraising campaigns, and partnerships that make both possible.

  • Helped a consortium of regional arts publishers turn years of shared conversation into a workable structure: a governance and membership model, a regranting framework, and the case for support to funders. (2026).
  • Strategic advisor to Harvestworks, New York's digital media arts center since 1977: shaped a three-year plan to grow its leadership team, raise artist fees, and preserve its archive, and made the case for multi-year institutional investment (2025–2026).

2025 → present Founder · Ultradilute

Ultradilute is an intentionally small, online concierge homeopathy practice for people who build creatively: entrepreneurs and founders, artists, spiritual seekers, whose health is often deeply intertwined with their work. Consultations run two hours, with no script and no such thing as too much information; ongoing care is a monthly membership of half-hour sessions every two weeks, with acute care when it is needed.

2015 → 2025 Executive Director · Eyebeam, New York

Chief executive and primary frontline fundraiser for New York's center for art and technology, through a decade of growth and a digital-first global pivot.

  • Restructured the financial model around direct philanthropy and led Eyebeam to become the first artist residency certified by W.A.G.E. for fair artist pay.
  • Created the Rapid Response for a Better Digital Future fellowship during the pandemic.
  • Founding member of the Collaborative Arts Network New York (CANNY).

2009 → 2015 Program Director and Fellowship Director · Eyebeam, New York

Directed artist selection for grants, fellowships and residencies, running national open calls and curatorial review panels. Built a network of more than 500 alumni artists, co-led programmatic fundraising with city, state and federal agencies (DCLA, NYSCA, NEA), and curated the Artists-in-Conversation series with guests including Joan Jonas, Trevor Paglen, McKenzie Wark and Paola Antonelli.

2006 → 2008 Digital Arts Director · Community School of Music and Arts, Mountain View, California

Built the digital arts program at Silicon Valley's largest community arts center, directing educational programming and outreach, bringing live performance with new technology to students who could not otherwise afford it, and securing a $10,000 Adobe grant to fund the program.
